"Roots"

I was just unpacking "Roots,"  formerly known as "End Of The Day." It was being returned from the Springfield Art Museum National Watercolor USA exhibition.  There was a very nice gloss catalog for this exhibition in the package.  On the second page there was a huge glossy photo of my work. I don't think I will ever stop being amazed at seeing my art in print like that - little me a tiny speck adrift in a huge ocean of artists having my work honored like that.  And I am always amazed when the same thing happens several times. This piece was also juried into the Americas" Northwest Art Center. Minot ND exhibition.  And the "Bold Expressions 2014"  National Exhibition at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center. Creative Muse-ings

What is is that drives a creative person?  Why is it that I don't stop, imagining, making and creating no matter what?  This blog will be about what drives me as an artist to create, why I can't stop and what I produce in my creative times. "Fences & Ladders - The Journey"

I am currently deeply entrenched in a series of works that I am calling "Fences & Ladders - The Journey."  As with all series, I have no idea how big or long it will go.  I am working on placing the works in a solo exhibition at Gallery 210 in the winter of 2016.  "How Do You Build A Bridge To Never Never Land?  30x40 aqueous media on paper.
