She Knew

you have to journey

     through rough fires

to be able to stay in

     this world

is the journey

     worth it ?

she knew 

     it was when

     as she notices

     the rivers of rain falling

across a dark granite wall

     and

she knew 

     when she hears

     the music of thunder

she knew when

     on a rainy day she

was able mellow 

     and dream

     she knew when she 

     felt the

yes yes yes

     and let her mind

     wonder

I miss her.  she is/was

so much a part of me,

hoping to find her again.

so I can find her again

but can’t
