River Banks
rivers edge frost-making
stillness
along its banks
dewy brown dark
before
brightening grey,
silent world
slowly, the sun, orange,
red erupts
rivers banks streaming
glistening under the flow
of celestial light

If Only
But only if
if
we allow it
to be
self forever
infinite

A Friend
a friend
what is it that makes
you
call them friend?
Exchanging sharing
unconditional
love
unconditional
trust
forgiveness
judgment.
Caring for them when
they are in danger.
It is the space you give them to be
themselves
it is the
enjoying every moment of who they are.
It is the laughter you share
together
and the tears,
It is the knowing
what they are going to say before they say it.
It is these many things that make you call someone a friend.
But most of all
it is the sharing of each other’s
lives
and trusting
caring.
what is it that makes
you
call them friend?
Exchanging sharing
unconditional
love
unconditional
trust
forgiveness
judgment.
Caring for them when
