I lead quite a contemplative life. I nourish my creativity through my interactions with nature and my artwork.

The concept I am currently working with in my art, and actually have been working with for some time now, includes how the dominance of technology seems to have taken over our culture and how this idea of progress and technology seems to dominate over the softer ideologies, like the natural world.

Mind you, I think progress and technology and moving forward are important, but I also think that there needs to be a balance for a healthy lifestyle.

His song is so glorious and pure on this sunny morning. Now I hear another. Glorious morning. In the weavings I am currently doing, I hope I am showing that everything is connected. Everything is like a weaving, whether tightly woven or loosely woven. The papers are woven together one way or another. Adornments are added, stories are told as I work. Things are connected, like the warblers, their song, and me this morning. Glorious morning.
