"Sunset" is part of my "Fences and Ladders: The Journey"  series that I have been working on all summer. It will be in the Museum of Wisconsin Art Members exhibition this fall.

"Fence Line"  has been accepted in the River Road National Exhibition in Baton Rouge Louisiana.  This is the 4th exhibition this work has been honored to be in.  What a fun little piece!  Originally it was called "Fairies On The Fence Watching The Storm Approach."  It was part of my fairies series.  This one has been out in exhibitions so much that it has had a chance to be sold.  Most of the pieces in this series are now in happy homes.  :)

"Reaching For The Sunrise"  has been accepted into the Kansas Watercolor Society National Juried Exhibition at the Wichita Center For the Arts.

"The Way Out" has won the "Best of Show Award" in the  2015 Midwest National Abstract Show in Indianapolis, IN.  Judge Paige Williams made this statement about my work"  "I was struck by the variety of media and gestural marks which engage at a distance then reward at closer viewing. The forms build and are layered in an interwoven dynamic composition.  The color combined with the use of negative space creates a visual clarity that eventually arrives at a crescendo." The Philadelphia Watercolor Society just honored me with Signature Status in their Society. "Chickadees In The Garden" will be on exhibition for their 115th ANNIVERSARY INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF WORKS ON PAPER September 5 - October 25, 2015 The GoggleWorks Center for the Arts Reading, PA, 19601

I was just unpacking "Roots,"  formerly known as "End Of The Day." It was being returned from the Springfield Art Museum National Watercolor USA exhibition.  There was a very nice gloss catalog for this exhibition in the package.  On the second page there was a huge glossy photo of my work. I don't think I will ever stop being amazed at seeing my art in print like that - little me a tiny speck adrift in a huge ocean of artists having my work honored like that.  And I am always amazed when the same thing happens several times. This piece was also juried into the Americas" Northwest Art Center. Minot ND exhibition.  And the "Bold Expressions 2014"  National Exhibition at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center.
