Solo Exhibition

I'm getting ready for my solo exhibition at Gallery 210 in the Plymouth, Wisconsin at the Center for the Arts.  January 25 - Feb 12. The title of the exhibition is "The Journey"  and it includes works from my Ladders and Fences series.  This piece is called "Pink Diamonds." The exhibition includes both poetry by me and by other Wisconsin Poets. Below is the poem that I wrote that goes with this work.

Pink Diamonds

the sky the all of
every
thing
silver sun moon
stars polished
diamonds
adrift
in the music of silence
you
going
gently
moving

ing
in the last days
of moving waters

Measuring Imagine

Measuring Imagine

measuring imagine
the artist she
wondering, wonder
wandering
traveling along
fields of wonderful
rivers of tears
skies of silver
mountains of dreams
the artist she

creates the journey

"Sunset" in The MOWA members exhibition

"Sunset" is part of my "Fences and Ladders: The Journey"  series that I have been working on all summer. It will be in the Museum of Wisconsin Art Members exhibition this fall.

Fence Line in River Road National in Louisana

"Fence Line"  has been accepted in the River Road National Exhibition in Baton Rouge Louisiana.  This is the 4th exhibition this work has been honored to be in.  What a fun little piece!  Originally it was called "Fairies On The Fence Watching The Storm Approach."  It was part of my fairies series.  This one has been out in exhibitions so much that it has had a chance to be sold.  Most of the pieces in this series are now in happy homes.  :)

"Reaching For The Sunrise"

"Reaching For The Sunrise"  has been accepted into the Kansas Watercolor Society National Juried Exhibition at the Wichita Center For the Arts.
